The Painted Orphans SAL. I am sure you’re wondering why I called it this. This SAL will consist of 12 patterns (including the frame it’s 13) and will be released monthly beginning on January 1st. The “Painted” part comes from the homes and how they are, or can be, painted in wonderful colors. The ‘orphans’ are your left over threads from previous skeins or floss that you acquired which was a “limited” color. This SAL will have suggestions for colors on the foliage surrounding the homes ,and various trims on the homes, but the main color will be up to you. I have an orphan thread pack available which contains 12 skeins of limited colors. You may choose to use this for your main color each month (just pick one from a hat!) and use your leftovers for the surrounding area colors. You will be the ultimate decision maker. The fabric used for the model is a new color called “Dreamy”. It’s a great sky color that could be a warm Summer day or a chilly Winter morning.
You will receive the frame part of the SAL the middle of December.
