I have not done a SAL in awhile so I thought that this year (2026) would be great to do two of them! I hope you enjoy stitching these as much as I did creating them.
These are both band samplers and you can chose to do one or both. They both will have six parts. The Witch Band Sampler will begin on April 1st and run through September 1st. The Snowman Band Sampler will begin on May 1st and run through October 1st.
Both samplers have a stitch count of: 123×203.
Note: When you want to know the size of fabric you will need for a project divide the stitch count by the count of fabric. For example: If you are using 16 count fabric you would divide 123 by 16. This is aprox. 7.68 inches. Next divide 203 by 16. This would be 12.68 inches. Lets round those up to 8×13. So, this means a 13×18 16ct piece of fabric would give you plenty of space on the sides for framing. If you’re using 14 ct. then divide by 14 and so on. When you are stitching on linen, say 32ct, you would cut that number in half first which would make it 16 and then you would divide that by the stitch count of the project.
