The Witches are invading Etsy!

skeletonfob witch1

Two new Halloween fobs have been put on Etsy with more to come. Plus, a pumpkin or two. These fobs are hand-made with hand-made cord using silks, over-dyes, metallics, ribbon and various other fibers. I would put them on this website but I have not mastered the art of quantities and since they are each unique I couldn’t possible sell more than one. If you are going to do an order here and want one of them added just let me know. Or, head on over there and grab a witch fob!

Gertrude and Queenie

Two new girls will be released in August. They are Gertrude who celebrates teachers and “school days”. Queenie celebrates bees and hives.

September will bring a bigger, spookier design and two more girls will be making their debut…possibly a girl who celebrates Halloween? I’ve been having a lot of fun turning them all into pillows and finding the right fabric for them. I hope you enjoy stitching them as much as I do designing them!

New threads and designs!

July’s Every Day Girls are available now. Ask for them at your LNS and please share finished pictures of your designs, with everyone, on my facebook page. I have been thinking about finishing them into small pillows or making them into a quilt wall hanging. I will keep you updated on that.

Also, this month some new threads were released. There was not much fanfare with their release and I am sure I have forgotten to notify someone about them. It’s been a long, busy June.

The new colors are:

Betsy Ross

Brick House

Hetch Hetchy

Lavender Parasol

Morning Meadow

Sea Siren

Betsy Ross

Fairy Ring

Snow Angel

I hope you enjoy the new designs and thread!

July’s Every Day Girls are coming soon!

All Girls small

Sirena loves the Sea and the sun. She uses her anchor to pull the sun down while her seagull friend perches on her arm.

Laetitia is celebrating birthdays! She loves cake.

Thankful is celebrating the Harvest. I know it’s a little too early for the harvest but she doesn’t know that.

5 new silks!

I have released 5 new silks.  I think Leslie ( should be happy!  I will be using them in designs once I get a greater color range.

The new colors are:

Sunshower (comparable to the cotton color Between the Shadows). It’s a really light yellow color that stitches up with a nice aged look.

Chimney Sweep is a great sooty grey. It’s comparable cotton twin is Bleak House.

3 Wishes does not have a cotton match but it is a nice medium gold.

Half Acre is a medium brown with some nice reddish brown highlights.

Orchard House is a nod to Little Women (obviously) and is comparable to the cotton Prim and Proper. Although, Orchard House is a little darker and pinker.

These adorable girls love to celebrate life…Holidays, Birthdays and even rainy days. Every day is cause for celebration!
